Hello all success seekers, 

Today, we are going to talk about how to get subscribers into your 
Autoresponder.

Once you have your Autoresponder set up, it's time to start getting 
people to
request your information.

Let me take just a moment right here to make sure we're clear on 
something.

Your Autoresponder is a powerful tool. With proper use and management, 
it can
be the key to a very effective online sales strategy. 

As with any advertising, there are three keys to success. They are:

1) Test
2) Test
3) Test

Your job as an online marketer is going to be to continually test 
various
subject lines, different copy (the body of your letters) and different 
offers
to see what works best with your particular market.

We will cover some in-depth testing options very soon. For now, just 
know that
this will be a part of your online marketing life. By testing copy and 
really
finding what works for you and your market place, you can separate 
yourself
from the competition in a big way!

I'll give you a clear example from my own experiences. A while back, my 
sales
numbers were WAY off. I was getting anywhere from ZERO sales per day to 
just
a handful. 

THAT was not going to work for me and I knew it. I started changing my 
offer
around. I changed my subject lines. I changed the copy I was using. I 
made
BIG changes.

The very next day, I started using the revised copy and sales went up 
to
more than 10 to 15 per day. Now THAT is a big change.

My product and service didn't change.
The tools and system didn't change.

My ad copy and presentation did... in a big way.

And the results were well worth it!

So when you seem to have hit a flat spot and sales are slow or even
non-existent, it's probably time to revise your ad copy.

Ok... so let's talk about some of the simple ways you can start getting 
people
to request information from your Autoresponder.

SIGNATURE FILE

The quickest way to get started is to include something in the 
Signature file
in your email program. 

Each program is different but the basic idea is the same. The Signature 
file
is usually a few lines of text that automatically appear at the end of 
your
email messages.

Since I personally focus my efforts on building TrafficWave.net, I like 
to use
something like this:

	Full details- mailto:BR1655@info.trafficwave.net.
	
Notice the "mailto" part before my email address? That tells most email
programs to make that a clickable link so they can just click it to 
send
email to my Autoresponder.

Now every time you reply to an email, your Signature file is working 
for
you.

DISCUSSION FORUMS

There are a number of discussion forums you can participate in online 
and
most of them allow you to include a Signature file when u post your
comments.

Discussion forums are really nothing more than a list of people with
similar interests. They can exchange ideas, share information, publish
tips, etc... depending on the type of group it is.

It's easy to find groups related to your area of business interest.

Just go to http://groups.yahoo.com/ where you can find information on
literally thousands of different groups to join (they're free). 

Tips to making this method work:

1) Be patient. Don't start posting right away. Take some time to read 
the
posts in the forum to get a feel for how things work.

2) Don't just start posting ads. These are typically DISCUSSION forums
where people like to DISCUSS issues related to their particular area.
Remember... most will allow you to includ a Signature file so that is
where your "ad" can come in.

3) Be relevant. When you do decide to start posting, whether to ask
questions, or to respond to other questions, make sure you are actually
contributing relevant information.

4) Be professional. Even if you don't agree with someone, always be
the consumate professional and use respect when interacting with the 
group.

Following these tips will help you build credibility within the Forums
and as your credibility grows, people will be inclined to review the
information in your Signature file.

This is why you want to be sure to set up your Autoresponder with
some letters for your offer and begin promoting as soon as possible.
